As an ICF accredited Level 1 & 2 coach training provider, you can work towards an ACC or PCC credential with us.

While your training and certification as an executive coach given by the Center for Executive Coaching will immediately set you apart from the bulk of leadership coaches in the marketplace, you may want to further differentiate yourself and add credibility by earning a credential from the ICF or CCE.

Learn about gaining an ICF credential

The credential most of our members seek is from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Michael Neuendorff, CEC faculty member, earned his Professional Certified Coach credential from the ICF in 2016 and has renewed it every three years as required.

By enrolling in any of our programs and adding Mentor Coaching, you will be on your way to meeting the training requirements from the ICF. See their website for specifics on training hours, Mentor Coaching and coaching hours required for the ACC or PCC credential.

Now we provide asynchronous and synchronous training plus Mentor Coaching as required and we can assist you in getting the necessary coaching hours, too. We have a global network of coaches who are available for practice coaching. Thus, even if you don’t launch a coaching practice while enrolled in our program, you can gain the coaching hours you need for credentialing.

In addition to the training and coaching hours requirements, you will need to pass the ICF Credentialing Exam as the final step. We have a wealth of knowledge to help you prepare for and pass the exam including study tips from our many members who have walked this path before you.

You can expect to accomplish what’s needed to attain an ICF credential in as little as four months or more typically in six to nine months depending on your availability to dive into our offerings. You can accelerate your progress by enrolling in one of our virtual or in-person seminars, which will help you reach the required training hours even faster.

Learn more about the BCC credential

We are also accredited by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) to set up members with qualifying graduate degrees to earn a Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential. If you hold a qualifying degree, then you will find the path to the BCC credential relatively easy in comparison to those of the ICF.

As with the ICF, you will ultimately need to pass an exam before earning the credential. We will help you with resources and access to study tips from members who’ve already passed the exam and earned the credential. You can learn more about the BCC credential and the necessary requirements by visiting their website.

If after reviewing the ICF and CCE websites you have additional questions about obtaining a coaching credential with support from the Center for Executive Coaching, send us a message.
